While attending the University of Texas at Austin, Michaela began her legal journey as an intern at a large personal injury firm, where she gained trial experience before moving to Houston to pursue her law degree.
As a Dean’s Merit Scholarship recipient, Michaela graduated from South Texas College of Law Houston in May, 2022. During her time there, she received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for Civil Trial Advocacy, was named on the Dean’s Honor List, and was actively involved in student organizations, namely The Women’s Law Society, The First-Generation Lawyer’s Association, and The Houston Association of Women Attorneys. Michaela sharpened her advocacy skills through the school’s pro bono clinical program, and she acted as a practicing attorney during her third year under a State Bar of Texas Supervised Practice Card. Michaela has held her Mediator Certification since 2021 and frequently mediated cases at the Houston Dispute Resolution Center on a voluntary basis.
Michaela joined our team in October, 2022, where she has worked passionately to achieve successful results for our clients. Her practice areas include general civil litigation, commercial litigation, corporate formation and restructuring, contracts and business transactions, as well as estate planning and probate.
